Engraving & inscription — boxes and holders engraved with a name or a line of dedication, in regular or seal script.
Numbered heirloom — collector material with a chosen serial ending (a birthday, say), the dedication noted in the certificate.

Mind the Custom

For Muslim friends, avoid alcohol-based scents; choose alcohol-free oil formulas and label them clearly.
White packaging reads as mourning in some Chinese settings; for festive occasions choose vermilion and gold.
For the unwell, keep it light (mint or aged sandalwood notes); heavy fragrance disturbs rest.
